Description:

The Backpack That Carries More Than Your Essentials

Back-to-school season means something different in Haiti. For many families, a new school year begins with impossible choices. School uniforms. Tuition. Books. Shoes. Without proper school shoes, many children simply can't attend class.

At the Deux Mains factory in Port-au-Prince, we're changing that story.

This backpack is handcrafted by the same artisans who also make every pair of our Haitian school shoes. During our Back-to-School Campaign, every backpack you purchase provides a pair of locally made leather school shoes to a girl in Haiti in your honor.

One purchase.
One backpack.
One girl walking confidently into school.

It's our favorite kind of full circle.

Designed for the Journey Ahead

Inspired by timeless utility and refined for everyday life, our Woven Backpack blends effortless style with exceptional craftsmanship.

Each bag is meticulously handcrafted from premium leather and handwoven using techniques passed down through generations of Haitian artisans. The result is a backpack that feels equally at home on a morning commute, weekend getaway, or international adventure. With a laptop sleeve embedded inside, its the perfect travel companion.

Beautiful enough to carry every day.
Built well enough to last for years.

As the leather softens and develops its rich patina, your backpack becomes uniquely yours, a reflection of every place you've been.

Handmade With Purpose

Every stitch represents meaningful work.

Your backpack is made inside our Fair Trade verified factory in Haiti, where artisans earn dignified wages, receive healthcare and professional development, and build lasting careers through craftsmanship.

And because this backpack is part of our Back-to-School Collection, your purchase goes one step further.

The very same factory that crafts your backpack will also produce a pair of durable leather school shoes for a Haitian girl, helping remove one of the biggest barriers to education while supporting local manufacturing in Haiti.

This isn't charity.

It's an investment in craftsmanship, education, and opportunity.....all created by Haitian hands.
